1st Grade Bible Presentation

Triston & "His Buds"
John Knox (preaching minister), Triston, & John Duty (Children's Minister)

This morning at church all the 1st graders were presented with a bible from the church. As they begin to learn to read we want the bible to be one of the books they read the most. :) Triston was very excited about this day. We have been waiting with much anticipation. Everything was going to be just perfect - He would receive his bible on Sunday morning with a beautiful smile and we would get a beautiful picture and then he would head off to school on Monday morning and we would take pictures of his first day. BUT things do not always go "as planned." Yesterday evening as Nana, Mimi & I were coming in from a Girls Weekend we noticed Jeremy holding Triston out in the yard. As it turns out he fell off his bike and skinned his knee & his whole face from his nose to his chin. We all felt so sad for him and I especially as I remembered that he would be going up in front of the whole congregation this morning. BUT Triston didn't seem to mind (which was most important anyways) and it will definitely be a day we remember.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

I Thes 5:16-18
