This is how the week left Ty. In the Brown Bear Class they have a short rest time but the kids rarely fall asleep b/c they are too excited to go outside & play. Even though he only goes on Mon & Thurs this has been a little hard on Ty as he still takes a 2 hr nap everyday. He is starting to make it some days without having a nap but by Friday this lil' pirate was worn out!

Lufts & 4th of July

We had a great time with our friends Garrett & Kristin Luft and their kiddos this past weekend. The kids all had fun swimming, boating and being in the parade. Ty & Annie were a "pair"! They got to our house around 4p on Thursday and after getting reacquainted Ty and Annie were off having fun. The next thing we knew we looked up and wondered where they had run off to. I heard water running and knew something must be going on so I searched for the sound of the running water and found the 2 of them in my bath tub splashing and having a big time. Of course there was like an inch of water all over the floor but they sure were having fun. That was just the beginning of their adventures....they caught frogs, swam, played with the cat, and just had fun. Triston on the other hand enjoyed being able to help Daddy and Garrett play the never ending game of getting the ball in the basketball hoop while jumping off the diving board......this is what they came up with to entertain themselves??!?!?! Triston also liked having little baby Hayden around....he loves babies. Hudson was kind of stuck chasing after Ty & Annie. :) Good times! The boat ride that started off kind of rainy but turned out to be a pretty nice time.

Ty kept calling Annie his friend...now he keeps talking about the weekend and saying "you know my friend...." and we are all supposed to remember that he's talking about his friend, Annie, or he gets really frustrated with us.

This time we were actually giving them a bath but the first time they did this all on their own.

The kids had lots of fun at our annual trip to Lake LBJ for the Bowden Reunion. Lots of good food, family, and fun times jumping off the dock, swimming, fishing, and picking peaches!
