Weekend Trip to Waco

My Mom and I took the boys to Waco this past Saturday for some fun. We went to the Cameron Park Zoo which was FABULOUS! If you haven't been you should take your kids. It was not crowded, there was a lot of shade, and several little activities for the kids along the way like ropes to swing on like monkeys, teepees, and other fun stuff. It is not as big as the FW zoo but just as good or better! We also went to Homestead Heritage and ate some FABULOUS food - All fresh and homemade. We toured their gardens, pottery shop, woodworking shop, fiber crafts, and other shops. We also saw their homestead animals. It was really neat. The kids enjoyed it just as much as my mom & I and we left with some delicious homemade bread, honey, and ice cream! Yum!
