Mom & Me - Cleburne SP Hike

Mom had this great idea that once a month we would go on a Saturday morning hike. So March 27th we started out on our Great Adventure. We plan to just hike at places that are relatively close to Granbury/Glen Rose, so we started with Cleburne SP. I had never been there but didn't expect anything grand as it's Cleburne. But I was presently surprised to find such lush grounds, a spillway, and stream that were all very picturesque. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to hike about 6 miles. It was a good hike. Although we weren't too prepared for this hike we definately know what we need for future hikes now that we have 1 hike under our belt. :)
