Colorado Bend State Park

Jeremy, the boys and I had a great time at Colorado Bend State Park this past weekend. Although, we had to weather the rain and mud we had a fun time. It was cool just hanging out as a family. The kids did SUPER on our hike to Gorman Falls. They got a little tired on the way back from our 7 mile journey but over all they did great. Ty hiked probably a total of 4 miles. :)Wow! It was still raining on Sunday morning so we drove on down to Marble Falls and went to the Bluebonnet Cafe, a great little cafe with an awesome breakfast and yummy coffee! The kids loved their donuts and cinnamon rolls! We drove around lake LBJ and the horseshoe bay area and dreamed of having a place there........ha! When we got back to camp the rain had stopped and the kids were able to play in the river a while. Ruger really enjoyed this. Jer & I had a good time cooking breakfast together and trying out some of our new cast iron cookware.

Off on our Great Adventure!

Jeremy found a hummingbird nest in a tree. We looked inside and there were 2 little eggs in there. Neat!

Skipping Rocks

Triston wanted Dad's expertise.

Gorman Falls.....yes, this is in TX!
