NO SCHOOL TODAY!

There is no school today due to the weather and icy conditions. Early this morning it was just supposed to be a 2 hour delay but they ended up canceling it later. We wouldn't have known they changed their minds but my friend, Julie, called and said, "I bet Triston is glad there is no school." "What??," I said. Let me check my e-mail and sure enough it was canceled. Lesson learned....check the website multiple times before heading out the door. Anyhow, The kids are having fun just playing inside. We got the play dough down and they are having a blast. It is a rare occasion that we get to make a BIG mess with playdough so they are thoroughly enjoying themselves. Fun times! Earlier, Triston wanted to go outside and feel the icicles. Ty was calling out the window to him (with pretend Diego binoculars at his eyes and nothing but underware on) saying, "Trisss-ton, Bring me some Acorns!" It was so cute - but of course I couldn't find my camera at the time. (Someone left it in the recliner and it got hidden - Ty). The ice is already melting away which is great because we had planned to go to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo this evening. I'll post pics of the boys in their cute "cowboy get-up" when we get home.
