We had a great time in Mexico with the Tuels. We were in Puerto Aventuras which is in the Mayan Riviera (south of Cancun about 50miles). We stayed at an all-inclusive resort. The rooms at the Hotel Catalonia were awesome. Both families had suites which were very spacious and roomy with the kids. Triston and Ty had a blast swimming in the pools, snorkeling in the ocean, and playing in the sand. Jeremy found a hermit crab for the kids. They thought it was great. We kept it in the bath tub for one night but had to break it to Triston that he couldn't take it home with him on the airplane. We also saw several large iguanas. Once when Ty and I were taking a walk one crawled out of no where!?! Yikes! One day we ventured out and went to Tulum, some of the Mayan Ruins. The kids weren't too excited about it but I thought it was neat. Triston & Ty thought the plane ride was pretty cool, though. This was their first time to fly. Wow - can't wait to go back and sit by the ocean!
