Last week, Triston attended his first science fair. We had talked about doing a science project a month or so ago and he didn't seem to interested because he could not do a volcano. They will not let you use organic materials at the science fair so the volcano was out. But then the night before the science fair he decides he really wants to do a project because all of his friends are doing one. Nothing like a guy to be last minute. Ha ha! So, I gave in and we did a project. He did agree to do something that was fairly simple, though, as we did not have a lot of time. The Unsinkable Egg - was the title - a project demonstrating the density of water.
He was a little disappointed when he didn't win, but was excited to get a participation ribbon.
